Product Management

Singapore · Full-time · Senior

About The Position

We are seeking a Data Product Manager to join our Data & AI practice in Singapore. This role acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, data consumers, and delivery teams, owning the strategy, prioritization, and lifecycle of data products supporting CPG and retail clients across APAC.

Unlike traditional product roles, you will be embedded in client engagements as a trusted advisor—translating business needs into scalable data solutions, defining product value, and driving adoption from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Data Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle of data products (data marts, feature stores, reporting layers, ML outputs, and self-service analytics)
  • Translate business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize backlog based on business impact, feasibility, and timelines
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (data quality, adoption, business outcomes, SLA adherence)
  • Promote a product-led mindset focused on measurable outcomes

Stakeholder & Requirements Management

  • Partner directly with senior stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, finance, and operations
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and use-case prioritization
  • Ensure alignment across business, delivery, and technical teams
  • Act as the escalation point for scope decisions and trade-offs
  • Communicate product updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Delivery Collaboration

  • Align product roadmap with delivery plans alongside engineering and delivery leadership
  • Define user stories, functional specifications, and data contracts
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies as the voice of the business
  • Lead UAT and data validation to ensure quality and acceptance
  • Manage scope changes and requirements evolution in a structured way

CPG & Retail Domain Application

  • Identify high-value use cases across commercial analytics, demand planning, trade promotion, category management, and supply chain visibility
  • Guide clients on the shift from raw data to governed data products
  • Support adoption through data literacy and change management initiatives
  • Contribute to pre-sales with use case frameworks and ROI-driven narratives

Data Governance & Quality

  • Define standards for ownership, lineage, SLAs, access, and documentation
  • Ensure scalability, governance, and monitoring of data products
  • Support data stewardship models and self-service policies
  • Embed data quality controls across the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management, business analysis, or data consulting (2+ years in data/analytics products)
  • Experience defining data pipelines, BI/analytics, or ML-driven solutions in client-facing environments
  • Strong knowledge of modern data stacks (data warehousing, modeling, APIs, reporting layers)
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience in agile environments with backlog ownership
  • CPG or retail domain experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to produce executive-level materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery; basic SQL skills
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, ThoughtSpot)
  • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools
  • Exposure to ML product workflows and lifecycle management
  • Experience
