 Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About Us: Matrix Global Services is looking to hire a highly hands-on and technical CTO. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and drive the development of cutting-edge big data solutions for our customers.

Job Summary: The CTO will be responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and implementation for our clients, with a strong focus on big data architecture and solutions. This role requires a hands-on, technical leader who can design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the large enterprise sector and a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects. This is a high-visibility position with both external clients and internal teams, emphasizing professional leadership rather than managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the technology strategy aligned with customers' business goals.
• Lead the design and implementation of big data architecture and solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Oversee the development and deployment of software and hardware solutions.
• Manage technology budgets and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in the large enterprise sector.
• Strong expertise in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• AI, MLOps, cloud and data governance (privacy & security) - Must

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.
