Project Overview

A US Regulator needed to adapt Actimize solutions to their unique business requirements. The customized solution needed to be able to manage voluminous data in a timely manner as well as have multiple exchange monitoring capabilities, including different asset classes.

Project Solution

After translating the custom business requirements to functional and technical specifications, Matrix-IFS:

• Designed user interfaces to intelligently display various data including several sets of dashboards and In-Alert visualized metrics
• Designed and developed efficient processes and optimized databases to handle large volumes of data
• Trained the regulator’s team so they were capable of developing additional models on their own

Results

• The regulator could now use custom Actimize models to automatically detect trading infractions at various exchanges across trading entities
• Open issues are recorded and tracked using the Actimize Case Manager
• High capacity of data could now be loaded, processed and stored in a timely manner
